Lab-Quality Pregnancy Testing

An unplanned pregnancy can be a life-changing event, which is why it’s so important to take a pregnancy test and receive an ultrasound. From there, you will be able to make an informed decision regarding your next steps. Finding the answers to these simple, but crucial, questions can make a significant difference in your decision process.

By visiting New Direction Women’s Center, you can obtain that information in a confidential, medical setting, where our staff can give you the resources you need. Through an appointment with us, you will receive a free, lab-quality pregnancy test that is 99% accurate.

Am I pregnant?

While the most common sign of pregnancy is a missed period, each woman may experience different symptoms throughout her pregnancy. In addition, pregnancy symptoms may also be linked to other underlying causes. If you are pregnant, you may experience any of the following:

  • Nausea
  • Food Aversions
  • Bloating/Cramping
  • Darkening of the Nipples
  • Fatigue
  • Mood Swings
  • Frequent Urination
  • Spotting

Should you experience any of these symptoms, please contact New Direction Women’s Center today to arrange an appointment for a free pregnancy test.

How Does a Pregnancy Test Work?

The pregnancy tests we provide detect human chorionic gonadotropin (hCG), the hormone released during pregnancy, as early as eight days* after conception. As your pregnancy progresses, the hCG in your body increases, making it easier to detect through a pregnancy test, even in the early weeks of pregnancy. All tests are performed in our center, and our staff will be available to discuss the results of your test during your appointment.
